About this fabric

The dense, close-set weave reads as a sturdy textile, with small irregular yarns creating gentle variation across the surface. Its warm yellow tone sits between pale butter and soft straw, rather than appearing bright or saturated. Fine darker flecks and pale threads catch the light subtly, adding depth without introducing a formal pattern. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm buttercup colour on a relaxed armchair, headboard or ottoman, pairing it with chalky neutrals, natural timber and softly aged brass. Its straw-like warmth can also lift a room built around stone, cream and oat tones.

A warm buttercup woven texture for relaxed upholstery with a softly natural character.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
