About this fabric

This colourway reads as a pale ivory cream rather than a stark white, with faint beige-grey threads creating its delicate vertical depth. The fine woven texture is clearly visible across the swatch, while the low contrast keeps the design understated. Light catches the raised and recessed threads subtly, giving the chalk tone a softly tactile finish without introducing a bold pattern.

How to use it

Pair this light chalk cream with warm white walls, pale oak and softly weathered neutrals for an airy, considered room. Its restrained vertical texture can also add quiet definition to a tonal upholstery or curtain scheme.

Use its chalky ivory tone to lighten upholstery, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
