About this fabric
The close-up reveals a closely woven ground crossed by fine horizontal and vertical threads, giving the surface a restrained linen-like irregularity. Grey, taupe and muted brown-grey strands blend together rather than forming a distinct motif, so the colour reads as softly tonal from a distance. Subtle changes in the weave catch the light across the swatch, preventing this quiet shade from appearing flat.
