About this fabric

The fabric shows large acanthus-like scrolls and curling leaves in softly varied grey-green tones, with the pattern emerging gently from the pale ground. Supplied at 425 gsm and 140 cm usable width, it has a substantial presence suited to upholstered furniture. The damask has a 75 cm vertical repeat and 140 cm horizontal repeat, making the sweeping motifs an important consideration when positioning it on larger pieces. A specification of 66.5 threads per cm and a standard length of 60 m complete the supplied construction details.

How to use it

Use this cool, muted sage-grey on a classic armchair, headboard or sofa where the large damask can be read clearly. Pair it with chalky whites, pale stone and weathered timber to draw out its softly aged character.

The softly faded sage-grey palette and ornate damask make it a refined choice for traditional upholstery and statement seating.
