About Cormar Carpets

Cormar is a family-run British carpet maker established in 1956 and trading as Greenwood and Coope Limited, with its registered office at Brookhouse Mill in Bury. It runs two mills in Lancashire and distributes from Bury and Hemel Hempstead on its own fleet, to more than three thousand retailers across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The range splits by construction rather than by look: wool twist and wool loop for the traditional British carpet, easy clean for the stain-resistant polypropylene families, and soft deep pile for the ones that are about how they feel underfoot. Readers of Interiors Monthly have voted it best carpet manufacturer thirteen years running, and it holds more than fifty industry awards.

The photographs on this site are Cormar's own overhead shots of the pile, taken straight down at very high resolution, so what you see is the carpet itself and not a room it happens to be in.
