About William Yeoward

William Yeoward's fabrics and papers are made under licence by Designers Guild, so they come to us through the same house as the King's Road ranges.

It is the calm end of that group. Washed linens, small stripes and checks and soft plains, in colours that sit down rather than stand up, which is what a room usually wants underneath one loud thing.

We use it most as the second fabric in a scheme: the pair of chairs beside the patterned sofa, or the plain lining behind a print.
