Rhubarb Cloud & Stone Fabric

Misc Fabric

Rhubarb Cloud & Stone pairs a pale, cloudy stone ground with slim vertical lines in a softened rhubarb-grey tone. The irregular waves bring movement to the otherwise quiet, finely textured surface.

About this fabric

The fabric shows a lightly crosshatched woven texture across a warm stone and soft cream background. Narrow paired waves run vertically from edge to edge, with their uneven contours giving the stripe a hand-drawn, organic character. The rhubarb-grey lines are muted rather than vivid, creating a cool, gently dusky contrast against the lighter ground. Its balanced stripe layout and restrained colour depth make the design suitable for either upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use it on a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains where the pale stone base can keep the setting light while the rhubarb-grey stripes introduce quiet definition. Pair it with chalky creams, weathered wood and soft grey accents to draw out its calm, slightly cool character.

Use the pale stone ground to soften a room, with the muted rhubarb-grey waves adding gentle vertical rhythm to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
