Sanremo Marble Fabric

Misc Fabric

Sanremo Marble is a softly mottled grey textile with a close, finely textured weave. Tiny diagonal crossings give the surface a quiet, stone-like depth rather than a bold pattern.

About this fabric

The surface shows a compact weave of pale grey, warm grey and lightly taupe threads, creating the nuanced appearance of honed marble. Small diagonal crossings form a restrained chevron-like movement that becomes more visible as the light catches the yarns. Its even texture reads as versatile for both upholstery and drapery. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this cool, softened marble grey on an occasional chair, tailored sofa or full-length curtains, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and muted taupe for a calm layered scheme.

Use this softly mottled marble grey weave to bring understated texture to seating, curtains or layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
