About this fabric

The swatch shows a close, compact weave built from tiny interlocking marks in ash grey, soft silver and deeper grey. The chenille texture gives the surface a lightly raised, tactile appearance, while the restrained contrast keeps the overall colourway calm and cohesive. Its cool grey tone reads clean and architectural rather than warm or creamy. The dense-looking woven structure makes it best suited to upholstery applications.

How to use it

Pair Taormina Ash with crisp white, pale timber and brushed metal for a cool contemporary scheme, or warm the ash-grey tone with oatmeal and natural wood. It would suit tailored sofas, occasional chairs and upholstered headboards where subtle texture is preferred over a bold pattern.

Use this cool ash-grey chenille weave to give upholstered seating a quietly tailored, tonal finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
