About this fabric

The whitewash tone sits between soft ivory and a very light cool grey, giving the chair a clean, hushed presence against the dark timber interior. A fine woven texture is visible across the seat and curved back, with subtle tonal variation where the light catches the surface. The design reads as plain rather than patterned, allowing the chair’s rounded silhouette to remain the visual focus. As a textile shown in use on a lounge chair, this colourway is especially suited to upholstery applications.

How to use it

Use Kanti Whitewash on rounded lounge seating where its cool pale tone can brighten darker rooms without feeling stark. Pair it with charcoal timber, concrete grey and restrained greenery, as shown in the image.

A cool, pale neutral with a softly textured surface for sculptural seating and modern interiors.

Pairs well with

Kanti Whitewash is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
