Ombra Natural

Palladio FabricCCF0090-03

Ombra Natural has a warm, natural-beige ground with broad, hazy vertical bands that shift through taupe and muted mauve. Its softly brushed-looking surface gives the colourway a gently aged, tonal character rather than a sharply defined stripe.

About this fabric

The image shows a woven textile in warm beige, crossed by broad vertical bands of dusky taupe with a subtle mauve cast. The banding is deliberately blurred at the edges, creating a softly weathered effect in which the lighter ground remains visible through the design. At 346 gsm and 137 cm usable width, it has a substantial mid-weight handle suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The pattern has a 56 cm vertical repeat and a 35 cm horizontal repeat, useful details when planning joins and placement.

How to use it

Use Ombra Natural to bring quiet warmth to an upholstered chair, sofa or full-length curtain, especially alongside oak, aged timber, cream linen and muted plaster tones. Its low-contrast taupe-beige bands work particularly well where a room needs texture and movement without a strong graphic stripe.

Pair this softly weathered taupe-beige colourway with natural timber, linen and warm neutral furnishings.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ombra Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
