Roseraie Denim

Secret Garden Fabric FabricCCF0781-03

Roseraie Denim presents a cool, pale denim-blue ground scattered with delicate garden flowers, leafy stems and fine botanical sprigs. Deep blue outlines give the softly toned design definition without making it feel heavy.

About this fabric

The design combines large dahlia-like blooms, smaller flowers, feathery seed heads and slender stems in white, icy blue and ink-blue against the denim ground. Its fine, even surface has a subtle textile grain visible in the close-up, while the darker outlines add depth and softly catch the light. The fabric has a 137 cm useable width, a 224 gsm weight and a pattern repeat of 84.5 cm vertically by 137 cm horizontally. This mid-weight specification makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery, with the broad horizontal repeat worth allowing for when planning joins or pattern placement.

How to use it

Use Roseraie Denim on relaxed curtains, an occasional chair or a pair of cushions in a light-filled room, balancing its cool blue tone with chalky whites, pale timber and natural woven textures. Navy piping or painted joinery can pick up the drawn outlines and give the floral pattern more structure.

Pair the cool denim-blue ground with white, navy and natural linen accents for a calm botanical scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Roseraie Denim without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
