About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler Jardine fabric is woven in 53% Silk and 47% Viscose, giving the surface a smooth, gently lustrous handle that suits its delicate decorative character. The design combines vertical blush and ivory stripes with trailing sprays of pink blossoms and green leaves, so the repeat reads as elegant and airy rather than dense. In this colourway, the pink is a muted silk pink with a warm, powdery cast, brightened by the paler ground and the light-catching satin-like finish. The fabric is approximately 130cm wide with a repeat of V 58cm / H 130cm approx, so the vertical flow of the motif is preserved across the width. It is a refined choice for curtains, blinds, or light decorative upholstery where the floral trails and soft stripe can be shown to best effect.

How to use it

Use it for full-length drapery in a bedroom or drawing room, where the soft pink ground can sit comfortably with painted creamwork, weathered wood, or gentle sage accents. It also works well as statement cushions or a headboard panel when you want a romantic but controlled floral.

Lovely for curtains or decorative blinds where the pink wisteria can read softly against the striped ground.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Grayshott Silk Pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
