Zanzibar Green

Paradiso FabricJ0184-01

Zanzibar Green brings a fresh, lightly exotic feel to the Paradiso design, with palm trees and small monkeys set against a pale ground. The green palette is lifted by touches of turquoise and yellow, giving the print a bright but softly softened finish.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a creamy, warm ground with palm fronds picked out in soft green, aqua and a little mustard, so the design feels airy rather than dense. The large-scale repeat of approximately V 39cm / H 43cm and the 129cm approximate width make the motif read clearly across larger pieces of upholstery or curtains. Its composition of 36% Linen, 24% Cotton, 24% Viscose and 16% Polyester gives it a natural-looking handle with a slightly smoother, more polished surface than a plain linen cloth. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this soft green with cane, light oak and chalky neutral walls to keep the jungle motif feeling elegant. It also works well as a feature armchair or full-length drape where the repeat can show its rhythm.

Use it for statement upholstery or lively curtains where the pattern can breathe.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Zanzibar Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
