About this fabric

The surface has a fine, naturalistic grain rather than a printed motif, with darker blue-grey depth toward the lower part of the image and a slightly lighter cast across the centre. This 138cm-wide faux leather has a 100% polyurethane top layer over a base layer of 70% polyester and 30% viscose. It is graded for Contract, Domestic and Healthcare upholstery, with Contract flame retardancy. Professional aftercare is specified for maintaining the material.

How to use it

Its cool slate colouring works particularly well on contemporary chairs, banquettes and sofas, especially alongside pale oak, soft grey textiles or warm ivory walls. Use it to introduce depth without the visual weight of near-black upholstery.

Use its cool slate tone on seating with pale timber, brushed metal or warm neutrals for contrast.
