About this fabric
Made from 65% PU and 35% cotton, this 138cm-wide faux leather has a smooth, fine-grain finish with gentle cloudy variation across the mauve-grey ground. The cool grey base is softened by a muted plum cast, giving the colour more depth than a straightforward charcoal or stone. Suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, it is specified with contract flame retardancy and professional aftercare. The restrained plain surface gives upholstered forms a clean, tailored appearance without introducing a separate motif.
How to use it
Use SUP2986 on a contemporary sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its smoky mauve-grey tone can add depth without becoming a strong accent. Pair it with warm timber, brushed metal and soft taupe textiles to draw out the colour’s muted plum undertone.
