About this fabric

The swatch shows a fine, closely woven surface in deep ottanio, sitting between blue and green with a slightly softened, mineral quality. Small pale and darker threads create a subtle crosshatched effect, while the compact texture keeps the overall appearance calm rather than visibly patterned. As part of Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection, it is best read as a drapery cloth; no performance features are noted for this fabric. The even surface and modest tonal movement should allow the blue-teal colour to remain the main visual statement when made into curtains.

How to use it

Use Tempera Ottanio for full-length curtains where its cool blue-teal tone can anchor pale grey, chalky white or warm timber interiors. Pair it with quieter blue-green accents to draw out the woven flecks without competing with the cloth’s understated texture.

A cool blue-teal woven cloth with understated texture, suited to calm contemporary curtains and relaxed tonal schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
