Curtain fabrics Fabric005

Tempera Roussillon is shown here as a warm rust terracotta textile with a quiet, closely woven surface. Its softly mottled colour gives the plain cloth depth without introducing a visible motif.

About this fabric

The swatch has a muted terracotta-red tone, balanced with brown and softened rather than bright or highly saturated. A fine, even weave is clearly visible across the surface, creating delicate grain and a gently tactile appearance. Subtle shifts between darker and lighter threads keep the colour from reading as flat while preserving the simplicity of the plain design. As part of Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection, it is suited to window treatments where this earthy shade can provide measured visual warmth.

How to use it

Use Tempera Roussillon for full-length curtains in rooms with oak, walnut or warm stone, where its rust terracotta tone can act as an earthy colour anchor. Pair it with chalky neutrals or deep brown accents to draw out the weave’s understated depth.

Use this warm rust terracotta weave to bring depth and an earthy, tailored note to curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
