About this fabric

The colour sits between burnt orange and deep sanguine red, giving the fabric a saturated but softened warmth rather than a bright scarlet appearance. Its smooth face has a delicate horizontal texture, and the satin finish catches the light subtly along the lower edge and across the centre. The clean, compact surface reads as fluid and refined, making this fine cloth best suited to drapery. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Tabularasa Sanguine for full-length curtains where its burnt terracotta tone can bring warmth and depth to an otherwise neutral room. Pair it with aged brass, walnut or creamy upholstery to balance the colour's polished satin sheen.

Use this warm, polished terracotta satin for curtains or other softly gathered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
