About this fabric

The visible weave is finely grained, with tiny horizontal and vertical threads creating a discreetly textured surface. Its putty-beige tone sits between warm ivory and soft greige, giving the colourway a calm, lightly chalked appearance. The fabric is catalogued as a textile in Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no composition, width, rub-test figure or additional performance feature is supplied here. The medium-looking, stable weave makes it suitable to consider for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Mastice to soften a tailored sofa, headboard or curtain scheme where a pale putty neutral is more nuanced than white. Pair it with warm timber, chalky walls and muted taupe accents to bring out the weave’s gentle tonal depth.

A quietly tailored neutral for upholstery or drapery, with its fine weave adding understated texture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
