Very Navy

Fire-retardant Fabric017

Very Navy reads as a deep, cool navy with an almost ink-like depth. Its closely woven surface is crossed by subtle vertical tonal striations, giving the plain colour quiet movement.

About this fabric

The swatch has a compact woven face in dark blue, with fine vertical lines that shift gently between navy and near-black as the texture catches the light. Rather than appearing flat, the shade has a softly variegated depth that gives upholstery a tailored, architectural character. This is a Fabric from Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no composition, width, rub test or additional performance features were supplied. Its structured appearance makes it particularly well suited to upholstered seating and other defined forms.

How to use it

Pair Very Navy with pale timber, chalky walls or warm grey upholstery accents to balance its cool, inky depth. It would also bring a crisp, tailored finish to a statement armchair, sofa or headboard.

Use this cool, dark navy weave to bring tailored depth to contemporary upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
