Very Zucca

Fire-retardant Fabric008

Very Zucca is shown here in a vivid terracotta orange, with a close, finely ridged surface that creates subtle vertical movement. Its warm, saturated tone has an earthy depth rather than a bright citrus quality.

About this fabric

The face of the swatch has a fine woven texture made up of closely spaced, gently irregular vertical lines. Small tonal shifts across the orange surface give the cloth depth, while the raised texture catches the light softly instead of appearing flat. This textile is catalogued as a Fabric in Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no composition, width or rub-test figures are supplied.

How to use it

Use the warm terracotta shade to energise a neutral room, particularly on an upholstered chair, headboard or softly tailored curtain. Pair it with chalky cream, walnut and muted olive to temper its saturated orange depth.

Use this warm orange textile to bring lively, finely textured colour to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
