Summertime Nero combines a warm cream ground with closely repeated black diagonal marks, arranged in slim vertical rows. The result is a graphic, finely textured textile with a clear architectural rhythm.

About this fabric

In this Nero colourway, the cream background keeps the fabric light while the near-black pattern gives it strong definition and depth. Closely spaced diagonal strokes create broken, herringbone-like vertical stripes rather than a broad conventional stripe. The jacquard construction is visible in the subtly tactile surface, with the dark details reading crisply against the pale ground. Its compact repeat and restrained two-tone palette give the fabric a smart, tailored character.

How to use it

Pair the warm cream-and-black contrast with ivory, charcoal or natural timber for a composed contemporary scheme. The narrow vertical rhythm would work particularly well on a neat occasional chair, cushion or simple blind where the pattern can remain legible.

Use the crisp black-and-cream rhythm to bring tailored contrast to upholstered seating, cushions or structured window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
