This Must Be The Place Monde De Glace places blue-grey birds, stems and abstract botanical forms against an ivory ground. Fine linear details, wave-like sections and angular bands give the swatch a cool, illustrated character.

About this fabric

The design is a jacquard fabric from Dedar’s Jacquard fabrics collection, with a varied composition of blue-grey and charcoal marks across a softly contrasting ivory base. A prominent bird motif sits among branching stems, paired leaf forms and layered, rippling lines. Geometric strips and diagonal borders interrupt the organic imagery, adding structure to the large-scale pattern. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the cool blue-grey and ivory colourway to bring a quiet graphic note to a pale room, especially alongside chalky neutrals, weathered wood or softly grey upholstery. Its mixture of birds, foliage and geometric bands suits a statement chair, headboard or full-length curtains where the pattern can be seen at scale.

A cool ivory ground with blue-grey birds, foliage and graphic woven details for quietly characterful upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
