Chapeau Beige

Upholstery fabrics Fabric014

Chapeau Beige is a pale, warm oatmeal-beige fabric with a softly clouded surface rather than a distinct printed motif. Its close, fine texture gives the light shade gentle depth while keeping the overall impression calm and plain.

About this fabric

The swatch presents a warm beige base with subtle cream and tan variation scattered through the surface. A fine, slightly nubby texture is visible across the face, creating quiet tonal movement without a regular pattern. As part of Dedar’s Upholstery fabrics collection, it is suited to upholstery applications. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Chapeau Beige to soften an upholstered armchair, headboard or sofa in rooms built around warm whites, natural timber and quiet stone tones. Its oatmeal cast is especially effective where a pale neutral is wanted without a stark, cool-white effect.

A softly mottled oatmeal beige with a quiet, tactile finish for understated upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
