Catai Beige

Fabrics Fabric20

Catai Beige is a quietly structured striped textile in a warm taupe-beige tone. Its alternating vertical bands give the neutral ground a measured sense of rhythm without introducing strong contrast.

About this fabric

The swatch combines a softly muted beige ground with lighter ivory lines and closely spaced stripe groupings. Broad vertical sections are interrupted by narrow, pale bands, while the fine woven surface gives the colour a gently granular appearance. The warm taupe cast keeps the design grounded and less stark than a cream-and-white stripe. Viewed as a whole, Catai Beige reads calm and tailored, with the linear pattern providing definition across upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Use Catai Beige on a compact sofa, headboard or relaxed Roman blind where its warm taupe base can sit alongside timber, chalky walls and other quiet neutrals.

Use the warm taupe ground to soften tailored upholstery or frame softly filtered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
