Ario Wide Width Orchid

Ario FabricHAF0598-02

Ario Wide Width Orchid is a softly muted pink textile with a cool orchid cast and a barely visible woven texture. The image shows an uninterrupted plain surface, allowing the gentle colour variation across the weave to remain the focus.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a pale dusty orchid pink, sitting between blush and a cool, softened lilac rather than a bright or sugary pink. Fine intersecting threads create a delicate surface texture, with the light catching subtly across the otherwise plain face. At 198 gsm and 48.5 threads per centimetre, it has a light-to-midweight woven handle suited to drapery. Its 308 cm usable width and 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are practical for broad, clean curtain drops without a repeating motif.

How to use it

Use Orchid for full-height curtains in a calm bedroom, dressing room or softly layered sitting room, where its cool dusty pink tone can sit alongside chalky whites, pale taupes and brushed metal. Its plain, non-directional surface also works well as a quiet backdrop to patterned upholstery.

A soft, finely textured orchid pink for airy full-width curtains and understated window treatments.

Pairs well with

Ario Wide Width Orchid is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
