About this fabric

Catalogued as a carpet textile, Adriatic has the dense, substantial appearance of a heavy woven surface and is best suited to upholstery rather than fluid drapery. Its irregular horizontal texture gives the dark blue-teal ground visible depth, while raised-looking lighter threads catch the light across the swatch. The colour reads cool and atmospheric, with charcoal-dark passages tempering the blue. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Adriatic with pale oak, smoked timber or warm neutral upholstery to balance its cool petrol-blue depth. Its softly distressed texture works particularly well on a structured armchair, bench or occasional footstool.

Use this deep blue-teal textile to bring cool, layered depth to an upholstered chair, sofa or footstool.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
