About this fabric

This Satara colourway is catalogued as Carpet, with no further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification supplied. The woven surface combines copper, russet and brown notes, creating a deep terracotta appearance rather than a bright metallic orange. Short, closely packed yarns form uneven horizontal ridges across the face, while lighter flecks catch the light and prevent the shade from looking flat. Its substantial-looking texture makes it best suited to upholstery-led schemes.

How to use it

Use Copper on a statement chair, ottoman or sofa where its warm terracotta depth can sit against ivory, camel, walnut or darker brown finishes. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the irregular horizontal weave remains the main surface detail.

Use this warm copper tone to bring tactile depth to upholstered seating and pair it with cream, tobacco or deep brown accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
