Satara Carpet

Holly is a deep forest-green colourway with an almost black cast, giving the Satara surface a quietly dramatic depth. Fine horizontal texture breaks up the dark ground with understated, uneven highlights.

About this fabric

The Holly swatch is densely covered with a small, irregular nubby texture rather than a distinct printed motif. Its very dark green tone sits close to black in the deeper areas, while raised threads catch the light as soft grey-green flecks. Subtle horizontal bands are visible across the surface, creating a restrained striated effect. This fabric is catalogued as Carpet and has no performance features noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Pair Holly with warm timber, aged brass and softened neutrals to bring definition to its near-black green tone. It would suit a statement chair, sofa or upholstered headboard where the textured surface can be seen at close range.

Use this near-black green on upholstered seating where its dense, subtly reflective surface can add depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
