SAVANNA Velvet Curtain - Lobelia

curtain VelvetHOH-C-1-FA-SAV-VE-LOB-XXX-XXX

SAVANNA in Lobelia is shown as a deep forest-green velvet curtain, gathered into generous vertical folds at the window. Its dark, irregular spotted motif shifts between the pleats, while the surface catches subdued highlights.

About this fabric

This velvet curtain combines a cool, saturated green ground with near-black organic spots that give the cloth a distinctly wild, graphic character. The velvet surface appears darker in the folds and softly reflective along the raised pleats, creating pronounced depth across the hanging. The repeated motif is medium in scale and remains clearly visible without overwhelming the vertical fall of the curtain. Catalogued in the curtain collection, this colourway has a luxe, atmospheric presence suited to a richly layered window treatment.

How to use it

Hang Lobelia wall to wall or at full drop in a room with charcoal, aged timber and warm brass, allowing the deep green to read as the dominant note. The dark spotted pattern works especially well where the curtain’s changing highlights can be seen across broad folds.

Use the deep green velvet at full length to bring rich, shadowy colour and a softly theatrical finish to the window.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
