Leaf Charcoal

Leaf Ii Fabric

Leaf Charcoal presents a deep, cool charcoal-grey ground with a restrained tonal texture. Close up, the surface has a softly mottled, almost shadowed appearance rather than a strongly contrasting pattern.

About this fabric

The dense woven face is animated by fine grey variation and faint vertical, leaf-like tonal marks that sit quietly within the charcoal base. Its depth comes from the interplay of darker and lighter threads, giving the cloth a softly tactile look without a pronounced sheen. This is a fabric SKU intended for upholstery classification, and no additional performance features are noted in the supplied specification. The near-monochrome colouring makes the subtle pattern read as texture first.

How to use it

Use Leaf Charcoal on a structured chair, sofa or headboard where its cool, deep grey tone can anchor pale timber, stone and off-white upholstery accents. Keep surrounding patterns light and tonal so the faint leaf texture remains visible.

The cool charcoal ground and barely-there tonal leaf texture suit tailored upholstery and modern, low-contrast schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Leaf Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
