About this fabric

The colour sits between soft taupe and muted grey, with warmer jute-like undertones visible across the surface. A fine, even weave creates subtle tonal flecks rather than a pronounced pattern, giving the cloth depth without visual busyness. The lightly textured finish catches the light softly, keeping the overall appearance matte and relaxed. This neutral colourway works particularly well where a restrained, woven backdrop is preferred over a high-contrast design.

How to use it

Use Leaf Jute to bring warmth to pale stone, chalk and natural timber schemes, or pair it with deeper taupe and charcoal accents for gentle tonal contrast. Its muted greige character is well suited to relaxed seating, cushions and softly framed window treatments.

A softly mottled, natural-looking neutral with enough visual texture to suit upholstery or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
