About this fabric

The close weave is visible as a fine crosshatch of subtly lighter and darker threads rather than a printed motif. Anthracite reads cooler and more restrained than a warm brown-grey, while the textured surface prevents the colour from appearing flat. Across the swatch, the dark tone remains consistent but shifts gently as the weave catches the light. This is a smart, understated colourway for upholstery where a strong neutral is needed without a completely solid appearance.

How to use it

Use this dark anthracite grey on a sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard, pairing it with pale stone, chalk or soft timber tones to balance its depth. It also works well with black metal and other low-contrast grey finishes for a calm, contemporary scheme.

A dense charcoal weave that brings quiet depth to upholstered seating and headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
