Vandal Wall Mural Monochrome

Vandal Wall Mural Monochrome makes an immediate statement with sweeping charcoal forms set against a warm ivory ground. The composition has the energy of expressive ink painting, with small muted tan details breaking through the monochrome palette.

About this wallpaper

Catalogued as wallpaper from Kirkby Design’s Wallcoverings Vol 1 collection, this design is built around large, irregular brush-like shapes rather than a repeating geometric motif. The warm ivory background keeps the overall effect softer than a stark black-and-white scheme, while the deep charcoal areas give the mural strong visual weight. Splashes, fragments and scattered muted tan marks add depth across the broad abstract forms. The result is a graphic wall covering with an artistic, high-impact presence.

How to use it

Use this warm ivory and charcoal colourway on a feature wall where its expansive brushwork can be read at full scale. Balance the dramatic pattern with quiet natural textures and warm neutral furnishings, picking up the subtle tan accents in timber or leather details.

A dramatic monochrome mural with warm ivory space and expressive charcoal brushwork.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Vandal Wall Mural Monochrome without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
