About this fabric

Fine vertical bands run consistently across the cloth, alternating warm antique gold with a darker charcoal-olive tone. The weave slightly softens the edges of the stripes, so the pattern reads as tactile rather than sharply printed. In the Mordore colourway, the gold is subdued and earthy, with the darker lines adding definition without overwhelming the ground. The visible, versatile woven construction makes it suitable for either upholstery or drapery.

How to use it

Pair this antique-gold and charcoal-olive colourway with dark timber, aged brass and warm neutral upholstery for a composed, quietly historic scheme. Its narrow stripe can also bring height and order to relaxed curtains or Roman blinds.

Use the muted gold and charcoal-olive stripes to add tailored rhythm to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
