About this fabric

The pattern is built from repeating diamond forms, curling scrolls and slender floral-like motifs arranged in strong vertical symmetry. Ochre remains the dominant tone, reading earthy and golden, while ivory lifts the design and black, olive and plum-brown marks add contrast through the weave. The close-up image shows a substantial, tactile surface with small woven colour steps that give the motifs a softly pixelated, tapestry character. No composition, width, usage or rub-test data has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this warm ochre colourway with dark timber, aged brass and quiet ivory upholstery to balance its intricate pattern; it is particularly suited to a feature chair, footstool or occasional upholstered piece.

Use this richly patterned ochre colourway to bring warm, graphic depth to an upholstered chair, ottoman or statement sofa.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Orchila - Ocre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
