Montserrat - Tomette

Îles du Vent Fabric5058-03

Montserrat - Tomette combines narrow vertical stripes in mossy olive and deep plum with broad terracotta horizontal bands. The close-set weave gives the colourway a richly layered, almost tapestry-like appearance.

About this fabric

This textile is organised into alternating olive and plum vertical columns, interrupted by repeated horizontal bands in muted terracotta and fine red lines. The Tomette colourway reads warm but subdued, with the olive softened by earthy brown undertones and the plum adding concentrated depth. Its compact, visibly structured weave and regular stripe layout give it a tailored upholstery character rather than a loose, fluid drapery feel. No performance features were supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Tomette with warm timber, aged brass and neutral upholstery accents to draw out its russet tones, or use it on a statement seat where the rhythmic stripes can remain clearly visible.

Use the olive, plum and terracotta palette to bring structured warmth to an upholstered chair, bench or sofa.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
