Sombrero - Tomette

Îles du Vent Fabric5057-04

Sombrero in Tomette pairs a pale cream ground with a closely repeated terracotta motif. The fine, lightly textured cloth gives the pattern a softly woven, breathable appearance suited to drapery.

About this fabric

The design is formed from narrow, curling ogee shapes arranged in vertical rows, with small diamond-like centres that create a delicate geometric rhythm. In this Tomette colourway, the terracotta markings read warm and gently softened rather than bright, set clearly against the creamy background. The fine weave keeps the overall impression light, while the dense repeat adds more visual depth than a plain cloth. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tomette for curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or full-length panels where its warm terracotta pattern can bring gentle definition to a cream, natural or softly muted room scheme.

Use the warm terracotta tracery against the pale cream ground for softly patterned curtains or relaxed Roman blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sombrero - Tomette without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
