Orchestra in Cornaline is a richly detailed textile of rust, burnt coral and copper motifs set against a near-black ground. The close-packed floral and paisley pattern has a dark, atmospheric depth in this colourway.

About this fabric

The visible design combines scrolling paisley forms with layered flowers, leaves and curling stems, creating a large-scale ornamental surface. Its warm rust and terracotta tones are lifted by flashes of coral and copper, while the black ground gives the pattern strong definition. The image shows a dense, textured woven appearance with subtle tonal variation across the motifs rather than a flat printed effect. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Cornaline on a statement armchair, footstool or occasional upholstered piece where its warm rust and coral tones can sit against charcoal, aged wood or deep neutral walls. Keep surrounding patterns restrained so the black-ground floral paisley remains the room’s focal point.

Use this richly patterned colourway to bring warm rust, coral and copper depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
