Tobago - Tomette has a warm, earthy character, with terracotta-red bands set against soft ivory and pale blush tones. Its chunky, irregular weave gives the stripe a distinctly tactile surface.

About this fabric

Broad horizontal stripes alternate terracotta, rust and ivory across the Tomette colourway, with subtle pinkish and brown notes adding depth to the red ground. The yarns are visibly uneven and looped, creating a nubby, raised texture rather than a flat printed finish. Fine pale threads break across the bands, giving the surface a softly weathered, handwoven appearance. The warm colour balance and substantial-looking weave make this a relaxed, textural choice for upholstery.

How to use it

Pair the warm terracotta stripes with chalky walls, natural timber and aged leather, or use Tomette on a statement armchair to add colour without a glossy or formal feel.

Use this warm terracotta stripe to bring tactile, rustic depth to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
