Poeme - Noir

Festivités Fabric4288-03

Poeme - Noir brings an ornate garden pattern into strong contrast, with scrolling flowers and paisley shapes traced across a deep black ground. Its warm metallic-brown and terracotta tones give the design a richly aged, decorative character.

About this fabric

The dense design combines large layered blooms with smaller rosettes, curling leaves and paisley forms, all arranged over the black background. Bronze, tobacco-tan, muted terracotta and pale beige threads create noticeable depth, while the dark ground keeps the colourway graphic and dramatic. The close, substantial-looking woven surface shown here makes it particularly suited to statement upholstery. No composition, width or rub-test figures are supplied for this colourway, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use Poeme - Noir on a feature chair, footstool or compact sofa where its black ground can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and plain textiles in tobacco, camel or deep brown to draw out the floral detailing.

A dramatic black-ground floral for statement upholstery, with warm bronze and terracotta detailing.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
