About this fabric

The dense ornamental design combines recognisable floral heads with paisley curls and smaller scrolling motifs, creating a tapestry-like impression across the swatch. Its amber and ochre tones catch the light warmly, while rust, chocolate brown and very dark accents add depth between the motifs. The close, textured appearance reads as a substantial textile particularly well suited to upholstery. No composition, width, rub test or performance features are supplied for this listing.

How to use it

Use Ambre on a buttoned armchair, occasional chair or small sofa where its warm amber, rust and deep-brown palette can act as the room’s decorative focal point. Pair it with aged wood, tobacco leather and quiet ochre or brown plains.

Use this richly ornamented amber-brown textile to bring warmth and antique character to statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
