About this fabric

Viewed up close, the fabric combines coppery russet and brown threads with pale rose highlights that form a fine repeating geometric texture. The compact motif remains understated, while the interlaced surface gives the colourway depth rather than a flat block of colour. Its warm, muted tone reads earthy in shadow and catches lighter rose-brown points across the weave. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this Vieux Rose colourway to bring warm russet depth to an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa, pairing it with aged wood, soft cream and muted blush accents. Its small-scale texture can also sit comfortably alongside larger checks or plain linens.

A tightly woven russet textile with dusty rose flecks and a quietly textured surface for upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
