Les Roses - Noir

Misc Fabric1580-02

Les Roses - Noir sets a dense floral arrangement against a deep black ground, creating a dramatic contrast with its coral-pink and muted sage-green blooms. Fine, curling linework gives the motif an illustrated, richly detailed character.

About this fabric

The black background makes the coral-pink flowers appear warm and softly terracotta-toned, while the sage-green rose heads introduce a quieter, dusty contrast. Repeated rose clusters and curling stems fill the visible width with an ornamental, medium-scale rhythm rather than an open floral layout. The fine outlines and layered drawing remain legible across the dark ground, giving the surface visual depth without relying on a plain texture. No composition, width or rub-test specification was supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this colourway with warm timber, aged brass and plain upholstery in charcoal or muted sage. Its dark ground is especially effective on a statement occasional chair, layered cushion or full-length curtain.

Use the black ground to anchor the coral and sage floral repeat on a statement chair, cushion or curtain.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
