Caraïbes - Dore

Îles du Vent Fabric5061-01

Caraïbes - Dore is a densely drawn tropical foliage design with an earthy, sun-warmed palette. Olive and golden-beige tones provide the ground, while rust, deep green and charcoal accents give the pattern depth.

About this fabric

Overlapping fan-shaped leaves, fronds and fine botanical lines fill the surface, creating a large-scale, highly detailed impression. The colourway is predominantly muted olive and ochre, enlivened by terracotta-rust touches and cool blue-green shadows. Its finely textured appearance softens the contrast between the many layered leaf forms, so the design reads as rich and atmospheric rather than sharply graphic. Caraïbes - Dore has the visual versatility of a mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Pair this olive-led colourway with warm timber, woven natural textures and small accents of rust or aged brass. Use it on a statement chair, sofa or full-length curtains where the dense foliage can be appreciated at scale.

Use this warm, richly layered botanical in a room with natural wood, aged brass and restrained plain textiles.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
