Îles du Vent Fabric5060-07

Saba - Encre presents a cool, deep ink-blue ground densely animated by tiny pale grey and ivory marks. The close-up reveals a fine, softly textured woven surface rather than a bold repeating motif.

About this fabric

The colour reads as dark slate-ink blue, with closely packed broken flecks that create a subtly mottled, almost peppered effect across the cloth. Pale grey and ivory threads catch the light between the darker marks, giving the surface depth without making it appear bright or high-contrast. Its fine, even texture suggests a versatile mid-weight textile suitable for both upholstery and drapery. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Encre to give a chair, bench or compact sofa a grounded blue-grey presence, then echo its pale flecks with chalky linen, soft grey or weathered ivory accents. It can also bring restrained pattern and depth to curtains in a darker, quietly tailored scheme.

The cool ink ground and fine pale flecks bring quiet depth to upholstery, cushions or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
