About this fabric

The colourway has a muted camel-taupe base that reads warm and earthy rather than grey, with subtle tonal depth across the woven surface. Narrow cream lines brighten the design, while darker brown and near-black stripes provide definition without overpowering the ground. The stripes vary in width and spacing, giving the fabric a more natural, irregular character than a simple equal-width stripe. Its even woven texture and balanced pattern make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Muscade to bring warmth to a relaxed seating scheme, pairing its taupe-beige ground with timber, woven textures and soft cream upholstery accents. On curtains or blinds, the vertical stripe can add quiet structure while the darker lines tie in with brown or black details.

A warm taupe-beige stripe with fine contrasting lines, suited to relaxed upholstery and tailored window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dominica - Muscade without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
