About this fabric

The colour reads as cool navy approaching black, with blue threads catching the light across the surface. Its dense weave is made up of small irregular marks that give the cloth a tactile, finely patterned appearance. The visible weight and compact construction make it a convincing upholstery choice, while the texture also has enough refinement for tailored soft furnishings. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Aoxomoxoa Notte on a structured armchair, dining chair or ottoman where its deep blue tone can provide quiet contrast against warm timber, pale stone or softer neutral textiles. Its near-black depth also suits a darker, atmospheric scheme when paired with brushed metal and tonal navy accents.

A deep ink-blue jacquard whose dense, tactile surface brings subtle pattern and depth to upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
