About this fabric

Orchila - Encre is built around a deep, cool ink-blue ground, with ivory and chalk-white stepped motifs framed by taupe, brown and muted rust accents. Small cross-like marks and diamond forms fill the spaces between larger, mirrored ornamental shapes, giving the surface a richly layered, tapestry-like rhythm. The close view reveals a compact, pixel-like woven texture rather than a flat printed finish. No composition, width, rub test or performance features have been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

The cool ink ground suits tailored upholstery where the white and rust details can act as a graphic focal point. Pair it with dark timber, aged brass or warm neutral textiles to draw out the pattern’s earthy accents.

Use this richly patterned ink-blue upholstery to bring depth and graphic character to a chair, ottoman or occasional seat.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
